The 18-hole par 70 layout is consistently rated as one of the best courses in the United States as well as the world. Colonial hosted the 1941 U.S. Open, the 1975 Tournament Players Championship, the 1991 U.S. Women's Open, and continues to host a PGA Tour event.
In addition to regular recreational play, the Club offers a variety of competitive and just-for-fun tournaments. Colonial also has a full-service golf shop and practice range, and offers professional golf instruction.
